About the Role
As an Active Directory Engineer in our Directory Services team, you’ll play a key role in helping the team in designing, building, managing and operating the Active Directory and related Infra that includes but is not limited to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Sync, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, LDAP, FIM/MIM etc. The Team work closely with other technology to provide these services to make sure these backbone services are up and running at all times. The team is committed to continuously improving our services and as a latest addition to our roles and responsibilities, we are now also responsible for managing Azure Active Directory and provide seamless authentication services via Azure AD. The Infra that we manage is spread across the Globe. We are both an engineering as well as an operations teams and no two days are the same due the dependencies that we have from our stakeholders. We also strive to automate our activities and PowerShell plays a key role in that.

What will your day look like?
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you are expected to: As a member of Directory Services team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing and running the Active Directory Infra and related services like DNS, DHCP, Azure AD for ANZ. You could be working on Incidents, Requests and Problems or may be working on an initiative to make improvements to our services.
- Have a shared responsibility of actively managing Incidents and Requests queue along with other engineers in the team.
- Engage in Priority Incidents and assist in resolving issues that may or may not be related to the Infra that you manage. We are a Level 3/4 team so sometimes it means being available for incidents/changes after business hours.
- Take part in planning and work towards delivering the committed deliverables every quarter. You will work independently to deliver the tasks assigned to you although you will have the Chapter Lead as a point of escalation should you need any assistance.
- Actively upgrade your skills and provide advice to your line manager and team on how best we can make improve the Infrastructure that we can manage.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Expert Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Excellent knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP etc.
• Expert Knowledge of all aspects of Azure Active Directory (Cloud)
• Strong knowledge of and Azure AD Sync (On-Prem).
• Sound knowledge Single Sign On Solutions using ADFS, SAML etc.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell and AD, Azure AD cmdlets
• Good scripting and Automation skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Servers and Client Operating System.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• An excellent team player
