About the Role

 

As the Head of Credit Strategy and Portfolio Oversight, you will play a critical leadership role within the Business & Private Bank risk team, providing second line oversight of credit risk strategy, governance, and portfolio performance. This is an influential leadership position where you will shape credit risk outcomes, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure robust governance across a complex and evolving portfolio environment.

What will your day look like?

 

  • Leading the Credit Strategy and Portfolio Oversight function, shaping credit risk outcomes across Business & Private Bank through independent second line oversight

  • Defining and leading credit strategy governance frameworks and oversight practices across portfolios.
  • Driving enterprise stakeholder engagement and influencing credit risk strategy, policy, and regulatory outcomes.
  • Overseeing portfolio risk insights, reporting, and governance to inform executive decision -making.
  • Building organisational capability and fostering a strong, proactive risk culture across teams.
