About Us

At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

As the Head of Financial Crime Systems & Capabilities, you will be part of the Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM) team who is committed to safeguarding ANZ businesses and communities from financial crime risks. By utilising customer data and intelligence, FCTM identifies, investigates, and escalates potentially suspicious activities, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and dealings with sanctioned entities. FCTM specialists operate within the Financial Crime Portfolio, assisting businesses across the group in meeting their financial crime regulatory requirements.

As the Head of Financial Crime Systems & Capabilities, you will lead a team driving ANZ’s financial crime technology and transformation agenda. This includes migrating data, applications, systems, and tools to the cloud while supporting teams across FCTM to design and implement innovative detection and investigation solutions.

In this role, you will also collaborate with teams across Financial Crime, Risk Transformation, and Technology to define business requirements and contribute to the development of advanced financial crime capabilities aligned with ANZ’s financial crime strategy. Additionally, you will oversee the creation of new solutions, drawing on expertise from Financial Crime teams to strengthen control effectiveness and facilitate the migration of on-premises assets to the cloud.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
