About the Role
Contribute to strategies to provide a secure, safe and healthy environment for staff and customers through critical analysis of enterprise-wide security risks and controls. This role will support our business across all geographies.

What will your day look like?
As a Manager, you are accountable for:
- Proactive collaborative approach with stakeholders, Divisional Business Units and enterprise-wide security and risk managers;
- Enable the divisions, through expert advice and development of programs, to manage security risks in-line with banks risk policies, including non-financial risk management framework;
- Manage threats and critical incidents impacting staff and customers;
- Identify operational and technology efficiencies to reduce overall security costs.
- Monitor costs to ensure plans and strategies are delivered within budget.
- Apply predictive intelligence to enable business and risk stakeholders to achieve operational effectiveness.
- Expert advice and operational leadership for security threat and vulnerability management and expertise in managing crisis events across the enterprise for all employees, including executives.
- Manage stakeholder relationships including providing time critical advice across the enterprise.
- Understand and manage the security control suit, including, policy, standards and procedures, physical security controls, electronic security and emerging security technology and security for employees and customers in locations where they work.

- Build and maintain a proactive, collaborative approach with stakeholders, Divisional Business Units, and enterprise-wide security and risk managers.
- Support business divisions through expert advice and the development of security programs that enable effective management of security risks in line with the Bank’s risk policies and non-financial risk management framework.
- Lead the management of security threats and critical incidents that may impact employees, customers, and business operations.
- Identify and implement operational and technology efficiencies to reduce overall security costs, while ensuring strategies and plans are delivered within budget.
- Apply predictive intelligence and security insights to help business and risk stakeholders improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance and operational leadership in security threat and vulnerability management, including the coordination and management of enterprise-wide crisis events affecting employees and executives.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, delivering timely and critical security advice across the enterprise
‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences:
- Demonstrated risk management expertise, including threat and vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, audits, and the ability to interpret and operationalise protective security intelligence
- Strong knowledge of protective security, with a proven ability to develop creative and innovative solutions while ensuring appropriate and cost-effective risk management outcomes.
- Significant experience in programs to manage travel security, event security, executive protection, and electronic security and physical management.
- Proven incident and crisis management capability, including travel-related crisis response, with the ability to identify and address root causes and systemic issues.
