About the Role
As a Governance and Risk Manager in our Risk Management Function for our Lenders Mortgage Insurance Legal Entity, you’ll play a key role in providing second line governance and oversight of the design and operating effectiveness of the ANZLMI Risk Management Framework and Strategy.
This is a key role to support the delivery of the Annual Risk Management Declaration for approval by the ANZLMI Board of Directors.
The role covers all financial and non-financial risk management activities within the ANZLMI Legal Entity.

What will your day look like?
- Managing the LMI Risk Management Committee (e.g. setting agenda, collections of reports and updates from members, preparing minutes and action logs, following up on issues)
- Managing and maintaining key governance artifacts (e.g. regulatory change and correspondence registers)
- Supporting the review, challenging, and reporting activities for the annual ANZLMI Risk Management Declaration for approval by the ANZLMI Board of Directors
- Planning and undertaking appropriate review and challenge of 1st line risk management activities, and statutory and regulatory reporting by LMI Finance.
What will you bring?
- Experience in Audit and the management of financial and non financial risks
- Experience and knowledge of prudential regulation of a General Insurance business and mortgage insurance product
- An ability to think about complex issues in a strategic manner, considering the broader context and implications
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Relevant degree in Business / Finance
- Circa 10yrs work experience in relevant industry / roles
