The Governance Manager is critical to making this happen and will work on various initiatives that relate to the AR&C Risk Head Office and AR&C Risk Division. This will include:
- Supporting the embedding of I.AM accountabilities for the AR&C Risk Head Office and work closely with other governance mangers within the AR&C Risk division to ensure consistent application of relevant frameworks and standards
- End to End accountability ANZBGL Responsible Manager CPD Training, Planning & Tracking for compliance
- Responsible Manager ACL Attestation Reporting (EDGE, Kaplan & External Events to be captured in Success Factors)
- Weekly Kingfisher Attestation
- Credit Risk & OR&C Staff Kaplan CPD Training
- Oversight L2 Policies Annual Reviews
- Maintain Risk Assets & Artefacts (e.g. AR&C Risk Max page)
- Lead Business Continuity Management annual attestations and ensure regular cadence and consistency of BCM activities
- Oversight of quarterly Asset Lifecycle Management reports before going to RRGM and Div CRO for sign offs
- Work closely with Risk Infrastructure & Technology teams to mitigate any potential IT asset/ Governance related matters i.e. COR events
- Oversight of any Governance related initiatives/ projects for AR&C Risk
- Provide Comms Manager with regular updates on Governance milestones by AR&C Risk to be communicated with division/ other stakeholders
This role is for an individual contributor who reports in the Head of Strategic Risk & Enablement who will guide you with the above responsibilities.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong knowledge and experience in governance, strategy and processes
- Well-developed ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective risk management solutions and to influence change;
- Degree in a numerate, statistical, or commercial discipline along with good, applied statistics skills, including experience using data platforms;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong capabilities to articulate complex analytical information. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
