Team: Contact Centre 

Engineer design, build, test and support solutions that underpin over 30 million customer interactions per annum whilst growing and developing a high performing engineering team (aka chapter) focused on transforming this key customer channel.

In this role you'll be a promoter and ambassador of the new culture and ways of working. As an Engineer, you will bring domain knowledge or deep expertise on a specific topic and contribute to engineering chapter.

What will your day look like

•    Enables continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed
•    Works in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions
•    Utilises tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
•    Contributes to a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
•    Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices
•    Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management
•    Creates estimates and continuously reviews demand within the individual Squads/teams
•    May create, understand and monitor application metrics

What will you bring?

•    Experience within Genesys stack, preferably Genesys 8.x Configuration Server, DB Server, Framework, Voice Platform(GVP), IRD/URS, Orchestration Server, Composer, Outbound, SIP Server, Routing Stat Servers, Reporting Stat Servers, Interaction Server, WFM, Infomart and GI2
•    Experience with customisation of Genesys Workspace Desktop Edition highly valued
•    Working knowledge of Genesys Cloud CX Platform
•    Strong language agnostic development skills.
•    Experience in one or multiple programming languages including C#, C++, Java, Javascript
•    Experience in scripting in common languages such as UNIX Shell, Windows Powershell, Javascript, Python
•    Strong working knowledge of the MVVM application architecture
•    CI/CD experience with tools to automate build and testing of desktop application
•    Application packaging for Windows platform using WIX toolset or similar
•    Working knowledge of SIP, VoIP & TDM co-environment
•    Experience in large enterprise & globally distributed Genesys deployments
•    Experience with performance analysis tools, like Splunk/Cyara/Dynatrace
•    Genesys Certification preferred
