About the Role
The Forecast Modeller role in CR exists to ensure that the leadership team has access to accurate data and analytics to support effective decision making around strategic resourcing decisions and team contingency planning.

What will your day look like?
As a Forecast Modeler, you are accountable for:

The role is responsible for ensuring the defined principles, tools, templates and practices significantly uplift our forecasting capability.

The toolset developed needs to be designed so that it is accessible to all levels of leadership from Team Managers to Executives and drives proactive decision making around resourcing

Forecasts and analysis provided are logically structured and make use of appropriate statistical methods; are fit for purpose and reflect the structure of the team(s) in a way that makes sense and demonstrates understanding of the business

Provide insights and recommendations based on forecasting data to support strategic planning and decision-making

Provide value added ad-hoc analytics to manage change and continuous improvement

Provide insights and tools for decision making around long-term capacity and FTE management decisions

Coach leaders to better understand their forecasts, plan effectively and make the best use of their FTE resources
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
-
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and data analysis tools. High level of competency of Excel and other data manipulation tools.

Proven experience in forecasting, data analysis, and statistical modelling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability in undertaking complex analysis using sophisticated processes and evaluating outcomes. Drawing essential links between disparate data.

Excellent problem-solving skills using data to support recommendations and escalations.
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
-
Proficiency in forecasting software and tools.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Experience in the financial services industry.
