About the Role
As Executive Assistant to the Group Executive for Group Technology you will be responsible for supporting the Group Chief Information Officer (GCIO) with the day to day running of the Group Technology Office and handle day to day issues and correspondence on their behalf.

What will your day look like?
As an Executive Assistant, you are accountable for:
- Managing the efficient running and operation of all aspects of the Group Chief Information Officer’s office including mail – both physical and electronic, calendar, travel schedule and all associated logistics such as visas, transfers, and accommodation
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Prepare and draft communications on behalf of the Group Chief Information Officer, including meeting agendas, reports and executive presentation.
- Autonomous and proactive manner, as well as prioritisation of the Group Chief Information Officer’s time in relation to business needs, ensuring all key meetings are set within appropriate timeframes and required briefing materials are available in advance. Also help facilitation of the Group Chief Information Officer keeping to schedule and attending meetings in a timely manner.
- Sourcing appropriate venues and coordinating all associated logistics and materials for conferences, meetings, and functions, including presentation materials, papers, agendas, catering, equipment, etc.
- Act as a delegate to support the management of all necessary People processes to ensure accurate position and people data, employee changes, recruitments, exits, etc, on behalf of the Group Chief Information Officer.
- Managing all costs and expenditure in line with internal ANZ policies and compliance practices including corporate credit card expense coding and monitoring, invoice processing etc
- General office support including data and documents management in accordance with policies.
- Developing engaging and productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and peer Executive Assistants, always displaying the highest level of professionalism.
- Exercising discretion and confidentiality on behalf of the Group Chief Information Officer as well as his supporting leadership team.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in providing Executive Assistant Support to Senior Executives and/or ExCo
- Time management and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to anticipate needs of the Executive and act proactively
- Strong focus on accuracy, policy compliance, responsiveness and resilience in addressing issues
- Strong initiative and a proactive attitude (anticipating needs) to undertake value-adding responsibilities
- Effective decision making and understanding the Group Chief Information Officer’s needs and preferences
- Professional approach to work, excellent telephone manner with a high level of customer service in all interactions with all stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, multi-task and prioritise with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent technical skills including advanced Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - written and verbal communication
