About the Role


The Senior Manager – Delivery (T&C) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the T&C project and initiative portfolio, ensuring high-quality execution that delivers measurable business and employee experience outcomes. This role oversees a team of project and delivery professionals and partners with T&C Product Owners, Digital/Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, and external vendors to deliver strategic and operational initiatives across the HR function.

The role is accountable for delivery governance, planning, prioritisation support, execution, risk and issue management, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realisation. It ensures work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organisational policies, frameworks, and strategic priorities.

What will your day look like?


You will be responsible for achievement of program goals, ensuring best practices are achieved and effectively governed. You will be accountable for coordinating efforts between different projects, leading the overall program with respect to strategy, implementation, risk management and delegation. Here is what your day might look like:

 
• Defining, developing and managing continuous improvements across the Business 
• Leading best practice in governance, risk management and compliance across Business initiatives 
• Managing the programs of work - prioritising and aligning resources, investment and initiatives with the line of business strategy 
• Monitoring and mitigating project risks, issues and controls
• Ensuring defined Business program metrics are met 
• Providing leadership and guidance to the project teams, and act as the primary influencer of senior stakeholders 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

• 10+ years’ experience in project/portfolio delivery, transformation, or program management in HR, People & Culture, or enterprise functions.
• Proven experience managing a complex portfolio of projects with multiple stakeholders, interdependencies, and delivery modes.
• Strong HR environment experience—policy, process, systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors), employee experience, or payroll-adjacent initiatives.
• Leadership experience managing delivery teams in matrixed or hybrid operating models.
• Strong understanding of risk, compliance, change governance, and quality assurance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, business casing).

 

Nice to have experience 

 

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services) 
Certifications in project delivery (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe). 
Exposure to HR data governance, payroll transformation, or end-to-end employee lifecycle initiatives.
Experience managing third-party delivery partners.
