About the Role

The aim is to take advantage of advances in technology, data, and analytics to allow Personalisation Specialists at ANZ to create much more ‘personal’ and ‘human’ experiences across moments, channels, and buying stages.

 

The Decisioning Strategy & Execution Lead will be a highly skilled data & analytics practitioner and data thought leader who will work closely with the Martech Platform CAL to help the bank deliver leading customer experiences and business performance improvements through the activation of data driven interactions in customer and front-line channels across Australia Retail & Commercial.

 

The right candidate will typically work closely with the leadership team to build the right capability and team culture required to deliver on Personalised Sales & Engagements customer outcomes. The role is responsible for developing Chapter Leads / members, building world class proficiency uplift across specialist Chapters within the function to deliver campaign velocity, quality & impact.

 

You will bring specific decisioning expertise and be considered a thought leader in your craft to develop it across the chapters. You will span across similar specialist Chapters and care for and nurture the growth of their Chapter members to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy.


 
 You are about the ‘how’ and work closely with other Capability Area Leads and/or experts/Chapter Leads to align and build capability. This may include writing enterprise playbooks for the craft and localising enterprise expectations and tools. You may also contribute tribe and squad work where required to hone your craft.

Create and promote the new culture and support personal development

  • Responsible for the personal development and performance reviews of Chapter Leads
  • Coaching and development planning on expertise and personal development by promoting an ‘always learning’ culture
  • Recognizes and develops top-talent and proactively manages under-performance

 

Share knowledge and align approach

  • Own the standards within area of expertise and ensure alignment with other similarly focussed Capability Area Leads and Chapter Leads across Tribes/Portfolios
  • Share insights and knowledge of own expertise with Chapter Leads/members
  • Active role in expertise sharing across the organisation
  • Continuously seeks ways to grow own thinking and capability.

 

Develop Expertise across your Chapters

  • Has a vision for the expertise of the Chapter and monitors and drives capability development towards campaign velocity, quality and impact.
  • Leverages expertise within the Capability Area drawing on broader thought leadership and experts for whole team betterment
  • Contributes expertise to support the realisation of squad and tribe missions
  • Pushes the boundaries of expertise to innovate, test and learn and experiment within matters of expertise
  • Continuously develops expertise and stays up-to-date with emerging trends, practices and information in area of expertise and more broadly
  • Works with leadership to understand and plan for workforce capability needs, current and future

What will your day look like?

This role is accountable for:

 

  • Nurture and maintain the Data & Capability roadmap for Personalisation to support the campaign and data community.
  • Data ingestion, processing and data integration
  • Capability uplift in the portfolio for decisioning, campaign development, analytics and governance
  • Customer & marketing data ownership
  • Orchestration for real-time in-situ customer decisioning
  • Arbitration, Prioritisation decision, (next best actions)
  • Define and manage risk mitigation controls
  • Ensure a well-managed platform with frameworks and processes for risk identification and management, roles and access management and incident Management
  • Enable data to supporting customer and experience migrations for ANZ+
  • Simplify Data Architectures and actively reduce legacy
  • Stakeholder and relationship engagement and management
  • Contribute to the rebuild of the personalisation assets onto the strategic platform within the defined strategy/roadmap

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Degree level qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field - or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in Marketing, brand, digital marketing or analytics fields
  • Approximately 5+ years' experience within a business facing data & analytics role, ideally with several years in a lead role
  • Scrum and agile software development methodologies; SAFe or equivalent
  • Leadership, management or coaching training
