About the Role
As a Data Privacy Manager in our team, you’ll play a key role in working with the Senior Manager, ANZ Privacy Office, and the Privacy Office team, including ANZ global stakeholders across the organization.

What will your day look like?
As a Data Privacy Manager, you are accountable for:
- Excellent understanding of data protection/privacy regulations.
- Recognized data protection qualification, e.g., IAPP-CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practice and proactive-focused data protection and privacy strategy.\
- Extensive business analysis background, including requirements management, stakeholder management, requirements and solution evaluation, and practical experience.
- Experienced in managing privacy control measures related to information security and vendor management.\
- Ability to think, navigate, and generate solution options on complex issues between data privacy and other domains/functions such as technology and vendor management.
- A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with different levels of stakeholders.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in privacy or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of privacy and data protection legislation, including the AU Privacy Act, GDPR, and PDPA.
- In-depth understanding of privacy management practices with the ability to identify and manage interactions across business operations.
- Excellent writing, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assist projects and business units with conducting Privacy Threshold Assessments to determine whether a PIA or some other privacy support is needed.
- Ability to conduct Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
