About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Framework Manager to join ANZ Privacy Office who will be responsible for maintaining and continuously enhancing the organisation’s privacy policies, standards, control and guidance. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to strengthen privacy governance, uplift capabilities, and promote best practices across the organisation.

What will your day look like?
As a Data Privacy Framework Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Maintain and enhance enterprise privacy policy, standards, guidelines, control requirements and risk management.
- Support control testing, assurance activities, and effectiveness reviews in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and other stakeholders.
- Identify privacy gaps and drive remediation activities.
- Monitor and support business to manage emerging privacy risk(s).
- Apply structured business analysis techniques to define risk, assess mitigation options, and recommend practical solutions.
- Deliver insights and reporting on privacy risks and control effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance privacy capability and risk management.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in privacy risk and compliance
- A recognised privacy or data protection certification (e.g., IAPP CIPM, CIPT)
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing privacy policies, standard, guidelines and controls within a highly regulated organisation.
- Strong ability to navigate complex privacy issues and develop pragmatic solutions across privacy, technology, and business domains.
- A delivery focused mindset with the ability to produce high quality outputs within tight timeframes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- In-depth understanding of privacy risk management practices with the ability to identify and manage privacy risk.
- High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.
- Excellent writing skills, including policy, standard and guidelines drafting.
