About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Content Writer to join ANZ Privacy Office who will support the reviewing, drafting, and maintaining all privacy-related content, including privacy notices, policies, and standards, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistency across jurisdictions. You will work closely with our stakeholders globally to strengthen our privacy framework and promote privacy best practices across the organization.

What will your day look like?

As a Data Privacy Content Writer, you will:

• Review, draft, and refine privacy notices and policies for both internal and external audiences
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, user‑friendly, and actionable guidance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Legal, Compliance, and business teams.
• Create templates and guidelines to ensure consistent and clear communication on privacy-related matters.
• Support privacy awareness initiatives by creating engaging, informative content.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• 8+ years’ experience in Privacy and Data Protection
• Recognised Privacy / Data Protection qualification e.g., IAPP CIPM. CIPT.
• Proven experience in policy writing, content development, or privacy compliance.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with different levels of stakeholders.

Other Key Skills:

• In-depth understanding of Global Privacy and Data Protection legislations.
• Experience in technical writing or compliance documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
