About the Role

The Reporting and Analysis Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in analyzing and understanding the data and reporting requirements for Customer Resolution. This role requires the individual to ensure accurate, insightful, and timely complaints data-driven reports are produced that help inform decision-making. As a Team Lead will also support the continuous improvement of reporting processes and data management, overseeing the design, collection, and analysis of data to meet the business needs and be knowledgeable on the latest advanced analytical tools and methodologies which can be deployed across complaints data

What will your day look like?

This role is accountable for:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, guide, and mentor a team of reporting and analytics professionals, ensuring their development and successful execution of responsibilities.
  • Reporting: Oversee the creation and maintenance of regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses, ensuring that they meet stakeholders' requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Analytics: Deploying advanced analytical methods and tools to enable surfacing critical insights from complaint data
  • Data Strategy: Define and implement reporting and data analytics strategies to align with the business unit goals, ensuring the data provided is accurate, relevant, and actionable.
  • Process Improvement: Lead efforts to optimize reporting processes and tools, identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements for faster and more accurate reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between business leaders, Aus data and the reporting team, translating business requirements into reporting solutions that align with strategic goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of all reports and analyses, ensuring data consistency and identifying discrepancies.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and support to team members on new tools, technologies, and methodologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage reporting tools and business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL) to generate insights and actionable data.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and analytics to assist senior leadership in strategic decision-making.

  • Ability to plan and prioritize to deliver the best outcomes
  • Analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess information, draw conclusions/insights and make recommendations
  • Competent communication, facilitation, interpersonal skills including a good level of influencing ability
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and how data analysis can support and improve operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A flexible, reflective and adaptable working style (able to work in ambiguous, fast paced and cross-functional team environments)
  • Are team-oriented, and actively foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
