About the Role
This role provides strategic and tactical support for the creation and delivery of internal and external communication activity and programs, supporting the CEO, Board and the bank’s overall strategic agenda.The role also supports strategically significant bank-wide communications projects relating to reputation and sentiment measurement, working collaboratively across the function.
This role manages measurement and reporting for relevant projects and ensures we use feedback, analytics and survey data to continuously improve communication with our stakeholders both internally and externally.

Work Hours: Full time (40hours/week)
What will your day look like?
- Work collaboratively with the team as well as the wider Corporate Communications function to plan, co-ordinate and deliver proactive communications programs and activities that support the CEO, Board and overall delivery of our strategy.
- Under the direction of senior team members, develop and deliver high-quality, well researched content (written, visual and multimedia) to support key initiatives/projects, that protects and enhances ANZ’s reputation.
- Support measurement and reporting of relevant projects ensure we use feedback, analytics and survey data to continuously improve communication with our stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Publish and distribute email and other communications to large groups of employees.
- Conduct desk research, on relevant topics as required.
- Deliver and support business-as-usual and at times moderately complex integrated strategies, on time and on budget.
- Deliver proactive and actionable insights from channels and tools, to help enhance ANZ’s reputation and engage with a broader audience.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to support and create engaging, visual communications, including filming and editing videos.
- Organised, able to prioritise tasks and work.
- Project coordination experience, including the demonstrated ability to plan, co-ordinate, research and deliver projects on time and on budget
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Event management, experience organising large hybrid town halls.
- Experience using databases in the context of program delivery, and reporting
- Creative, able to identify opportunities to improve processes
- Strong judgement and ability to determine potential reputational risk
- Identify potential issues and support development of mitigations and plans to address them.
