About the role

The Cloud, Data, and Infrastructure Services (CDIS) portfolio within Group Technology aims to provide secure and resilient technology services, infrastructure and platforms across ANZ to enable our enterprise customer and business strategic goals. 

The role of the Change Lead (Cloud) sits within the Cloud Change & Capability squad under the Strategy & Operations portfolio, but will work across all CDIS domains to plan, enable, and execute on the backlog of change execution activities to ensure that we have a consistent and effective plan and narrative both within and outside our function. This could include (but is not limited to) some key strategic deliverables across the Accelerated Engineering Program (incl. the management of our cloud & data centre migrations), Network Transformation, Actionable Data and our ongoing development of Cloud Capability.

You will also be responsible for maturing and developing the change and communications skillset of the broader domains that we support to ensure that we can be effective in the delivery of our stakeholder engagement, capability, and change management strategies. 

What your day could look like

  • Work with the Cloud Change & Capability Lead and CDIS Executive leadership team in planning and driving the pipeline of strategic CDIS change execution initiatives across Accelerated engineering, Network transformation, Actionable Data and Cloud Capability. 
  • You will also work closely with the Group General Manager and the Portfolio Lead for Cloud, Data and Infrastructure services to ensure that all the Domains and Tech Areas that form the CDIS portfolio has an engaged and collaborative workforce with clarity on our strategic objectives. 
  • The role will be responsible for maintaining our strategic communications and knowledge management channels, standards & guidelines (including working with our Group Communications teams to scale messages both internally across Group Technology and externally to the market).  
  • You will work closely with your peers in the Cloud Capability stream and work with our external cloud and technology partners (incl, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft & Google Cloud) to plan and deliver enterprise-wide Cloud@ANZ events, talks and conferences.

Role accountabilities

This role is accountable for:

  • Strategic delivery and planning - Designing and implementing overarching engagement and communications activities, initiatives and events for CDIS to drive the delivery of our key strategic priorities, including but not limited to Accelerated Engineering and Cloud Capability.
  • Change management - Enabling change readiness for key CDIS priorities through effective stakeholder management and influence.
  • Stakeholder management - Developing and maintaining effective working relationship with key stakeholders (including Domain/Tribe leads, Product Owners, Engineering teams and enablement functions) to ensure consistent, clear, and concise communications across ANZ.
  • Alignment with ANZ communications - Supporting an integrated and collaborative communications approach aligned with ANZ Technology Communications, ANZ Group Communications and the communication teams across ANZ.
  • Coaching and mentoring – Leading the Change & Communications squad through developing the team’s technical change and communication skillset.

  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: Change Management, Delivery Management, Business Analysis
  • Experience in delivering towards medium and large-scale projects with a customer-centric lens
  • Experience in supporting multiple business units or departments to deliver upon strategic objectives 
  • Experience in building relationships across ANZ and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders 
  • Adaptable and flexible to deal with uncertainty, ambiguity and changing priorities 
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies
