About the Role


As the Capacity and Performance Management Lead, you will play a pivotal role with the Operational Excellence team in Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM), driving efficiency and performance across large operational teams.

 

You will be required to analyse data to identify trends, assess performance, providing actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency. Responsible for capacity planning and workforce optimisation across large operational teams, you will monitor for emerging risks ensuring the team is prepared and equipped to meet business objectives while maintaining high standards of performance.

 

This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for optimising process and team performance.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week

What will your day look like?


Your key priorities and responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on capacity and performance management.
  • Oversee team performance metrics and ensure optimal work distribution.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance resource utilisation and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor emerging risks and implement proactive measures to maintain business continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align capacity planning with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of performance.
  • Managing the capacity and resource allocation for FCTM, ensuring resources are available to meet operational demands.
  • Oversee alert / work creation and distribution, ensuring arrival patterns and schedule of delivery are managed.
  • Conduct Management Information (MI) analysis and provide insights to stakeholders and Senior Management

  • Extensive experience managing large operational teams
  • Strong leadership and strategic management capabilities, with the ability to drive operational excellence across multiple teams
  • Proven record providing workforce optimisation
  • Strong data analysis capability
  • Experience preparing and presenting operational reporting / management information for senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse business units
