About the Role

As a Capability Expert in our Financial Wellbeing Assist team, you’ll play a key role in helping to improve the financial wellbeing of our customers. The Capability Expert is an expert in capability, learning and development process, policy and system governance. Partnering with business stakeholders, the capability community and Talent & Culture, the Capability Expert’s role is to advance Financial Wellbeing Assists (FWA) learning governance practices and support the maintenance and sustainment of quality core curriculum. 

 

The Capability Expert also plays a key role in coordinating the capability framework for FWA, driving efficient and effective training delivery to uplift the FWA’s workforce.

What will your day look like?

As a Capability Expert, you are accountable for:

 

  • Designing, developing, and executing leading learning governance practices, to ensure FWA staff meet these high standards and there is a strong positive culture surrounding regulatory-related learning.
  • Working with Capability Expert peers to support ongoing maintenance and sustainment of quality core curriculum and flagship strategic programs.
  • Development and delivery of learning reporting, creating transparency, and driving continuous improvement.  leader accountability.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of capability related process optimisation changes, enhancements and/or process transformation.
  • Uplift, manage, and monitor compliance with the CSO Training Governance Framework and Capability Management Model across FWA.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Personal effectiveness and project management, coordination, learning reporting and continuous improvement capability.
  • Experience or understanding of learning need analysis, human centred design, developing and embedding learning.
  • Relationship Management - building, maintaining, and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Coaching – A passion for leading, coaching and growing people selflessly through effective dialogue, enquiry, goal setting, and
  • applying coaching techniques.
  • Communication - facilitation, storytelling, written and oral communication skills.
  • Leading and/or supporting a team.
  • Data driven decision making – using multiple sources of data and information to help contextualise and determine priorities.
