About the Role

 

As a Business analyst in our Personalised Sales and Engagement Tribe, you’ll play a key role in helping us build momentum in Australia Retail division of ANZ through increased brand consideration and improved digital sales, as well as delivering on the transformation agenda through data-driven automation, customer insights and capability excellence. 

This role is responsible for the analysis of business processes, designs, systems, integration layers along with creating business use cases, drafting end to end business and system requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of the customer outcome being delivered by the squad.

What will your day look like?

 

  • Start working on ‘single line problem statements’, find way through amid ambiguity to clearly discover the business system requirements to build/enhance technology solutions.
  • Conduct appropriate analysis of processes across business units to support the achievement of outcomes such as process mapping and change transition.
  • Elicit, document, and manage the requirements throughout the end-to-end project or program.
  • Partner with Product Owner to validate requirements and their priority as well as alignment to the customer and business value being delivered.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Experience Designers, Release leads and other members within or outside the squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries while drafting complete and well elaborated user stories.
  • Define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to assess and design solution outcomes and identify capability gaps.
  • Work with stakeholders to provide information to support decision making and enable a clear understanding of business objectives and benefits.
  • Own the built solution and actively participate in ongoing support for the platform as required e.g., diagnose problems, assess customer, business impact and propose potential fixes for the production incident management.

What will you bring?

 

  • Experience working as business / system analyst with expertise in online banking platforms, customer origination and end to end onboarding lifecycle, digital product applications and process orchestration.
  • Strong elicitation / requirements gathering, estimation, facilitation, and impact assessment skills – with equal focus on business process and technology impacts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate business analysis outcomes with large, senior stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to adopt a functional decomposition approach to analysis using an extensive range innovative elicitation methods and techniques.
  • Strong experience in understanding technology system modelling, system design, application performance needs and technology infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to understand our technology stack, assess solution design, analyse technical issues, production logs, review scripts and the implemented business logic.
  • Ability to analyse interface designs and system interactions, data mapping, data modelling, request – response and different error conditions.
  • A thorough understanding and working experience as a scrum master in scaled agile environment.
  • Experience in aligning new features with enterprise agile release train and ability to support changes to production.
