The Business Manager for Risk’s Strategy & Transformation team is a key support role to Group Risk’s GGM Strategy & Transformation, with day-to-day tasks aligning closely to GM focus areas. Some examples of activities; conceptual development of strategic objectives into initiatives; set up of new projects and associated operating rhythm; and synthesizing information and producing Executive communication materials and updates.
This role is also responsible for running a well-managed business unit; including drive and execute team engagement programs; ongoing management of costs; supporting the annual investment planning process.
This role has many senior touchpoints both inside and outside of Risk and it is essential that this role works collaboratively with key stakeholders in Risk and across Enablement functions to support the team on executing key priorities.
What will you bring?
- Sound understanding of business strategy and drivers of success
- Demonstrated experience in working with Senior Management and liaising with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to the environment, be comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity
- Proven track record in managing multiple tasks with conflicting demands
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Collaborative work style, involving others in reaching end states in the work performed
- Strong oral/written communication skills, with a genuine concern for quality and standards
