About the Role

As a Business Analyst you will work closely with the Senior Digital Engagement Advisor to gather, analyse and present data to inform decision making. The role involves monitoring trends, identifying opportunities for improvements, and using data to identify insights across our digital channels. The role would suit an experienced business analyst who has experience with a range of web analytics tools, a strategic mindset, and ability to communicate insights in a meaningful way.

What will your day look like?

  • Lead quantitative data activities, developing insights to help inform planning and decision-making for our digital channels across ANZ’s intranet, Viva Engage and employee communication platform, Staffbase. 
  • Conduct analysis and provide visibility of engagement with the tools and channels and support process improvement opportunities that realise efficiency benefits.
  • Use advanced business analysis skills to continuously improve existing governance and management activities.
  • Lead on process improvement opportunities, with the goal to automate and reduce time and effort. Providing users with easy to use, value-add channels and processes. Delivering effective process change and ongoing training. 
  • Produce meaningful reporting for each of our channels and develop and maintain a central analytics dashboard looking across data points for our digital platforms.
  • Ensure the teams non-financial risks (operational risk and compliance) and requirements are managed effectively. 
  • Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure deliverables are on time.
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience of creating dashboards essential to business. Experience with dashboard and automation tools e.g. Power Automate, kanban boards
  • Works collaboratively and creatively to help solve problems and implement solutions. 
  • Able to use data to tell a story in an engaging and meaningful way, backed by facts and analysis. 
  • Communicates with influence and effectively engages with internal stakeholders and external vendors to foster collaborative relationships, deliver constructive outcomes and resolve issues.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidently and accurately writes documentation such as process maps and procedures, training artefacts, and business requirements.
  • Actively listens, understands, and responds to stakeholders. 
  • Asking the right questions to gather information.
  • Confidently presents findings, recommendations within the team and to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Can handle ambiguity, is flexible in approach and able to juggle multiple tasks or projects.
  • Excellent time management skills.
