About the Role

As a Business Enablement Manager in our ANZ Q Program, you’ll play a key role in partnering with ANZ Home Loans and OneTwo (a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANZ, born out of ANZ’s innovation arm) to implement a series of digital products that work together to optimise business processes driven by data, artificial intelligence, automation and business integrations. The Business Enablement Manager will partner with the Q Program Initiative Lead / OneTwo Business & Integration Lead to support the execution of the operating model for OneTwo and the Q Program. This role will support the day-to-day operational effectiveness of OneTwo and the Q Program by working closely with all functions within OneTwo and the ANZ Home Loans business and key partners, including Finance and Strategic Delivery.

What will your day look like?

As a Business Enablement Manager, you are responsible for: 

 

  • Provide strategic support to the Q Program Initiative Lead / OneTwo Business & Integration Lead, including working closely with the OneTwo / Q Program leadership team to ensure appropriate focus and funding is allocated to the most important priorities
  • Assist in the preparation of executive papers for Board, ANZ Executive Committee, the Australia Retail Leadership Team and other working groups.
  • Project management of strategic operational initiatives within OneTwo
  • Guide day-to-day operations of the OneTwo office to ensure the team is well-equipped and supported to operate effectively, overseeing finances and supporting people management 
  • Secretariat for various company meetings and forums that require collaboration and decisions, managing their charter, agenda, actions and cadence.
  • Work closely with OneTwo / ANZ finance business partners to manage funding, including financial forecasting, monitoring, reporting and tax compliance
  • Accountable for reviewing and managing FTE and costs for the OneTwo business and, working closely with the ANZ PMO to manage FTE and costs across the Q program
  • Accountable for resource and workforce planning across OneTwo / Q Program, including workforce strategy, succession and transition planning
  • Effectively contribute to the people and culture approach across OneTwo / Q Program including people development planning and execution, reward and recognition initiatives, triaging and consolidating feedback to the Leadership Team
  • Contribute to embedding the operating model, overseeing implementation and operational effectiveness (e.g. establishing communities of practice and appropriate rhythms). This includes owning the development/running of OneTwo / Q Program Leadership Team, Extended Leadership Team and key company-wide / Q program major events, with support from other team members where required

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Business Partnering experience, with a focus on operations management
  • Experience in business enablement activities, including stakeholder engagement with senior management, process optimisation, preparing Executive level Committee papers, managing leadership team meetings.
  • Proven track-record in strong financial management, including managing budgets, costs and resources.
  • Project management and organisational skills. Strong ability to plan, execute and monitor initiatives to ensure timely delivery and alignment to goals.
  • Experience in HR processes, employee relations, people development, performance management and talent acquisition
  • Previously managed or experience in governance activities for official committees and forums.
  • A pro-active nature and ability to manage ambiguity while working in a fast-paced environment, embarking on uncharted territory
  • An ability to connect with people to drive outcomes, anchoring your approach in ANZ’s values and behaviours.
