About the Role

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Business & Private Banking team as a Business Banking Manager, supporting a premium broker portfolio.

 

You will manage a team-based portfolio of small business customers, working across a blend of inbound demand and structured outbound engagement. With a strong focus on relationship growth, retention, and customer outcomes, you’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored banking solutions.

What will your day look like?

 

As a Business Banking Manager, you will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of small business customers, with a focus on retention and value creation
  • Engage customers through a mix of high-volume inbound and structured outbound activity
  • Build trusted relationships by understanding customer ambitions and delivering tailored solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities and support customers to achieve their business goals
  • Collaborate closely with Lighthouse, CSO, and enablement teams to deliver seamless outcomes
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the ANZ product suite to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture
  • Deliver against balanced scorecard targets, including customer, risk, and growth metrics

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

 

  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and deepen customer relationships, influencing outcomes that create mutual value
  • Portfolio Management: Experience managing and prioritising a customer portfolio in line with performance and risk objectives
  • Customer Solutioning: A customer-first mindset, with the ability to identify needs and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Credit Capability: Understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and lending structuring within policy frameworks
  • Data & Insight: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable opportunities
