About the Role
As a Business Analyst in the Complaint Uplift Program, you will be accountable for working with key project stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and eliciting, documenting, managing and tracing the requirements throughout the program end to end. You will undertake analysis activities to support the achievement of the program objectives such as testing, process mapping and change transition. Working alongside Teams in Customer Resolutions, Data Portfolio, ANZ Plus, Assurance as well as key support partners in Risk, Technology and Operations, the Business Analyst plays an integral role in ensuring the success of the Complaint Uplift Program.
This role is a key role to help capture, understand and agree on the changes needed to implement the Complaint Uplift Program. Along with good understanding of the ANZ Delivery Framework, the role will need be across the Regulatory requirements for complaints management and related policies and management frameworks, along with related regulations and policies to do with product management, lending, collections and hardship.

Role Schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/week)
What will your day look like?
As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for:

Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organisation’s operations. Engages with stakeholders to gather detailed insights.

Consider different ways to deliver the analysis, using a project delivery or agile methodology, and select an appropriate approach.

Evaluate business needs, such as contributing to strategic planning of information systems and technology directions.

Document the complex areas of scope, requirements, risk, added value or benefit expectations, using an integrated set of analysis and modelling techniques.

Lead or provide input to the requirements monitoring & management (traceability) function.

Translate business objectives into requirements using appropriate tools and methodology.

Explore implications of design decisions and recommend improvements.

Undertake qualitative, quantitative and desktop research to uncover actionable insights that can improve solutions and identify new opportunities.

Support the scope and cost management process.

Manage stakeholder expectations (internally and externally).

Identify risks early by project risks and issues.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Engineer or related field.
• Deep knowledge and expertise in delivery tooling such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Signavio and the MS Office suite.
• Detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks
• Experience in many different elicitation techniques
• Competent in requirements gathering skills
• Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on mid-large sized and varying complexity projects.
• Can appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a moderate to high complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represent consolidated findings.
• Stakeholder seniority exposure usually up to Group 2 or 3
• Exposure to Business Case development
