About the Role

As a Business Analyst in the Home Loans Product Management and Governance team, you will be responsible for ensuring Home Loan products and the end-to-end value chain are well managed and governed to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirements.  The Home Loan Portfolio aims to deliver exceptional home loan experiences for our customers by consistently providing easy-to-use products and services. We are dedicated to simplicity and meeting our customers’ needs today, while continuously innovating to exceed their expectations tomorrow.  This role will be primarily focused on Home Loans Governance and operation of key controls.

What will your day look like?

 


As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for:

•    End-to-End Risk Management: Develop and maintain the comprehensive risk and control view of Home Loans.

•    Influential and Professional: Be able to influence and manage priorities and conflicting issues professionally.
•    Workflow Management: Support the management of workflow by helping to organise tasks and follow directions to ensure timely and effective completion.
•    Good Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities, with attention to detail.
•    Problem Solver: Enjoy addressing challenges by using critical thinking, teamwork, and available information to help improve outcomes for our customers and the bank.
•    Daily Operational Support: Assist in supporting the home loans business to help ensure home loan products operate smoothly and meet expectations.
•    Continuous Improvement: Help identify and suggest opportunities for enhancement and optimisation.

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
 


•    Proven Emerging Skills in Non-Financial Risk Management: Some knowledge of the banking and finance industry, with experience in identifying and assessing non-financial risks.
•    Good Knowledge of Home Loan Products: Demonstrates solid experience or exposure to home lending products and their features.
•    Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations.
•    Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
•    Commitment to Growth: Willingness to seek feedback and provide constructive feedback to help colleagues learn and grow.
