About the Role
This role is focused on the Origination Decision Systems, primarily the C1 risk decision platform known as CDP. It requires a niche skill set, combining knowledge of Credit Risk business, Risk Infrastructure and release frameworks. As a senior BA role, it supports solution design to integrate ANZ’s front-end lending systems, downstream systems, and third party vendor systems to deliver business configurations of Credit Risk strategies. Additionally, the role requires strong stakeholder management, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to support BAU initiatives and project deliveries.

What will your day look like?
As a Business Analyst (Risk Infrastructure), you will be supporting the Originations Decisioning Squad, in particular responsible for the following
• Analyse, interpret and translate customer requirements into viable solutions, using an Agile Methodology
• Able to lead functional consultancy to the squad and other delivery partners to ensure the solutions conform to the customer requirements
• Prepare documentation that represents designs to be used by the delivery team, including interface mapping documents (known as PMDs), specification documents, User Stories, etc.
• Provide valuable inputs into the optimisation of existing business configuration designs & implementations aim at improving customer/banker experience
• Engage with customer groups to understand both stated and unstated needs, including facilitation of sessions with multiple stakeholders including business process owners and SMEs
• Understand business architecture and processes to continuously improve, simplify and deliver a better customer and banker experience
• Determine how best to deliver and embed change into the bank and to customers, integrating stakeholder needs
• Manage product-related risks and regulatory/legal requirements
• Support release management activities by coordinating with Business and Tech stakeholders.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Business analysis experience and/or related technical experience
• An understanding on Business Strategy configurations and the role it plays in organisation’s Credit Risk management
• Can appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a high complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represents findings
• Sound understanding of Retail & Commercial Risk portfolios and banking functions
• Experience in elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills
• Excellent understanding of data structures and data relationships
• Understanding of system and product delivery lifecycles, disciplines and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, with strong influencing and relationship building ability
• A “can do” attitude with great attention to details & strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes
• Knowledge of Power Curve Decisioning for Origination would be a plus
