About the Role

As a Business Analyst you will be part of the Institutional Capital Reforms Program (ICRP) that was established to ensure the Institutional Division complies globally with APRA’s revised Credit Risk RWA standards - specifically changes to APS 113, and the introduction of APS112.

 

This includes realising and sustaining cumulative RWA benefits by delivering strategic solutions that are scalable, automated and are part of an effective control environment ecosystem.

 

Your role as a Business Analyst will be helping to analyse and synthesis information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities, and ultimately elicit, document and manage the requirements throughout the project or program end to end, and other analysis activities such as testing, process mapping and change transition.

 

Working within the stakeholder engagement framework for the project, you are responsible for communicating these requirements to key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the projects or program’s objectives and benefits.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week

What will your day look like?

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Gathering, documenting, and seeking applicable approvals for business requirements.
  • Analysing data to identify trends, insights, issues, or validating assumptions.
  • Creating process maps and workflow diagrams and seeking applicable approvals.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Designing solutions in collaboration with internal project team, external to project dependency partners and ANZ tech.
  • Conducting and facilitating meetings and workshops to gather information or achieve an outcome or objective.
  • Assisting in testing and validating new systems or processes.
  • Updating project plans and timelines.
  • Providing support and training to end users.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven business analysis experience and/or related technical experience
  • Experienced at facilitating workshops for all change related activities and a desire for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks, experience in elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills.
  • Good understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures. Some domain knowledge of Institutional Banking.
  • Good understanding of the Credit Origination process including ANZ products and collateral.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
