About the Role

The objective of the Broker Governance Advisor role is to support the Broker Partnerships business with:

  • Complete ongoing risk and governance processes in time with quality of work.
  • Maintain and develop Risk Profiles for Broker Partnerships by facilitating in risk incident management and implementing recommended actions from internal oversight team.
  • The role acts as a key subject matter expert on all aspects of Risk and Governance data for Broker Partnerships, including risk incident, Broker Key Risks Indicators (KRI) analysis and reporting.
  • Reviewing and updating the standard operation procedures in line with Policies, Frameworks and Standards for Accreditation, Commission and Broker Governance team.

 

Role Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
Role Type: Permanent, Fulltime (37.5hrs/week)

What will your day look like?

As a Broker Governance Advisor, you will:  

  • Improve risk maturity within Broker Partnerships using and embedding Risk Frameworks/Risk Profiles
  • Provide Risk & Compliance oversight across Broker Partnerships
  • Incident Management oversight & trend analysis
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Preparation of appropriate Risk & Compliance related reporting and papers
  • Record management, Reporting and Remediation
  • Assist in the implementation of new system and regulatory requirements

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:   

  • Strong experience in banking and financial services with a strong focus on home lending, risk management, governance and/or reporting
  • Superior stakeholder skills, and written communication skills are essential
  • Advanced understanding of home lending processes and broker industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of Broker industry, Home Lending processes, Risk Frameworks and Regulatory Standards, market and external environment
