About the Role
This role sits within the Controls and Customer Outcomes (CCO) team and is dedicated to providing Line 1 Risk support for the CRRA Complaints and Systemic portfolio and the Portfolio led value chains. The role is responsible for supporting and contributing to the end-to-end value chain risk assessments, risk related change management, events management as it relates to the risk profile impacts,controls design, and general business risk advice.
In addition, to this the role will work across the value chain to gain end to end insights and overview of the business risk and control landscape for HIPS, Amplified and CPS230. This involves continuous touch points with business stakeholders to understand risk and controls data outside their respective portfolio to manage data quality issues, identify trends and hot spots in relation to the e2e process/value chain management.

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
- Delivering against the control objectives and providing compliance support (incl. support of control design)
- Coordinating the E2E value chain to successfully integrate and implement I.AM Amplified and CPS230
- Coordinating and supporting the business in actioning outcomes of thematic reviews and deep dives by Line 2 and 3, and other hot spots identified through trend analysis
- Supporting the CCO Business Assurance and Controls Manager/Lead in the event of internal Audit reviews that span a single portfolio and value chain incl. coordination and assistance with responses (incl. for events management/remediation etc)
- Maintaining and managing risk data completeness and quality in the NFR hub for the end-to-end value chain
- Coordinating and managing data for NFR Hub reporting and analysing, assessing, and reporting a broad range of data for the end to end value chain
- Facilitating and participating (as needed) in Risk Management Forums (RMFs) and Divisional value chain forums (e.g., ERGF, CGF,CAF etc) including preparation of specialist content under the direction of the CRR Assurance Lead.
- Influencing and directing stakeholders within the portfolio and across the respective end to end value chains to make effective CRR risk based decisions
- Overseeing and supporting the respective end to end value chains with risk treatment plans, business stakeholders with regular risk reviews (e.g., High/Extreme risk reviews etc)
- Providing guidance and support to the value chain business stakeholders on how to conduct change risk impacts and risk assessments (incl. NFRA’s) and how to manage risks related to change implementation
- Working with the value chain business stakeholders to uplift and increase their risk awareness and capabilities to drive ownership and accountability for risks
- Working with the value chain Business and Control Owners to develop E2E remediation plans when required to manage key risks
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience across the CCO portfolio (Complaints, Remediation etc) value chains and/or retail product lifecycle
- Experience in risk management/ compliance; OR internal / external audit
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the end-to-end value chain to develop effective operational risk management solutions
- Able to utilise analytical insights and data across the end-to-end value chain to identify opportunities to better balance risk with customer propositions and help drive critical business decisions by analysing metrics, designing reports and writing risk submissions
- A willingness to create a thorough understanding of how our customers and bankers relate and react to embedding risk management in everyday activities
- Ability to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
- Good engagement skills and ability to build relationships across the value chain through a collaborative approach
