About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Private Banker to join our Melbourne ANZ Private team. This opportunity sits within ANZ Private Office, a specialised segment focused on some of Australia's most successful family groups, entrepreneurs and sophisticated family office clients.
Working closely with a Private Banker, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth families and family office clients across both Melbourne and Sydney, providing a personalised relationship model and delivering holistic solutions across their banking, lending and cash management needs.
The Associate Private Banker role is both diverse and fast-paced, offering the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships while contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience, coordinating tailored solutions, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and working closely with specialists across the broader ANZ Private business and our Institutional Bank.
The successful candidate will bring strong banking and transactional expertise and a proven ability to develop trusted client relationships through professionalism, credibility and excellent service.
This role offers outstanding exposure to complex client needs, direct client engagement, and a genuine pathway for professional development within one of Australia's leading private banking businesses.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven success in a client-facing role, with the ability to build trusted relationships and consistently deliver exceptional client outcomes
- A strong understanding of transactional banking and the ability to navigate systems and processes
- Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Sound knowledge of credit, risk and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting client acquisition, onboarding and KYC processes, contributing to portfolio growth and client retention
- Strong attention to detail, a disciplined approach to execution and a commitment to maintaining the highest compliance and risk standards
- A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and a genuine desire to continue developing your knowledge and career within ANZ Private
- Most importantly, we are looking for a motivated team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and excited by the opportunity to work with some of ANZ's most significant family and family office relationships
