What will your day look like

As the Associate Director, you’re primarily responsible for leading the Research & Analysis function of a portfolio corporate and institutional clients in the Health sector. The primary activity of the role covers:

 

  • Client performance & risk evaluation & industry research & mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing and Reviewing credit papers and exercising Credit Approval Discretion (where appropriate).
  • Managing direct reports at an Analyst and Associate level.
  • Overseeing ongoing credit monitoring agenda, including financial analysis, risk grade event management and quality assurance processes.
  • Liaising with clients on transaction structuring and ongoing credit reviews.
  • Liaising with credit executives on an on-gong basis; and
  • Deal documentation.

 

This role is within the market leading specialist Corporate & Institutional Health team. The health business includes clients in sub-segments covering aged care, retirement living, land lease communities, hospitals, health REITS, diagnostic imaging, allied health, childcare and community care.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Have a strong credit / transaction structuring background and desire to apply this skill set to Healthcare’s specialist sub-segment.
  • Be highly organised and structured in their approach to client management.
  • Be willing to build an external and internal network to provide industry knowledge and insights; and
  • Ability to negotiate complex financial alternatives.
