About the Role

This Associate Director, NFR Embedding is a critical role with respect to embedding and optimising the execution of ANZ’s Non-Financial Risk Management Framework across the Global Institutional business.

This role will support the Global Institutional BG&C Leadership team to target the key embedding activities identified post the initial I.AM Amplified Program delivery of Risk Theme targeted releases. This role will support several key embedding activities, including, but not limited to, optimal control instance creation, monitoring design and appropriate coverage of key control objectives set by Risk Theme Officers.

What will your day look like?

As the Associate Director, NFR Embedding, you will:

• Assist and lead aspects for Central BG&C execution of the agreed approach to embedding and prioritisation of NFR Risk Theme targeted releases.

• Develop and use centrally produced data analytics to drive a consistent approach to the embedding activity Globally.

• Ensure that respective BG&C Heads, Risk Owners and other key stakeholder groups remain informed of embedding progress and milestones through the presence of Group standard RMF materials.

• Ensure prompt escalation of deliveries at risk at all stages of the program to the Central BG&C Team and respective BU/Country Head of BG&C.

• Be informed of the priorities associated with the embedding program and provided with an opportunity to ratify assumptions and detailed expectations of delivery.

• Design and lead closure of control uplifts across the global business in a one-way-same way manner where required.

• Independently execute against the priorities, engaging with stakeholder groups across the Institutional Division as required.

• Be working in partnership with the global embedding program team to aligned prescribed timelines, delivering at pace.

• Articulating current targets, milestones and status to respective Heads of GB&C, Risk Owners and COO’s.

• Contribute to the frequent tracking of the embedding program informed by the Central BG&C Team to the Globally Insto Executive.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong experience and understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management within Institutional context

• Proven ability to work independently with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that recognise cultural differences across ANZ’s network.

• Ability to work strategically, and both autonomously and collaboratively, and deliver under pressure

• Tertiary qualifications specifically related to Risk Themes, and subject matter expertise in particular Risk Themes

• Strong Data analytical skillset
