About the Role

As the Associate Director, Data Strategy you will be responsible for assessing, designing and driving the transformation of the Institutional Division’s data ecosystem.

 

The Divisional Data strategy solution will enable scalable, trusted, and efficient Non-Financial Risk data capabilities and risk management practices that support key business objectives around revenues, productivity and risk management.

 

Specifically, the role will define and plan activities required to deliver automated risk control testing for the Division using AI and advanced analytics solutions. These capabilities are critical to support the effective implementation of the Divisional NFR agenda.

What will your day look like?

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Partner with business and functional stakeholders to shape the Division’s data strategy and support the Institutional 2030 strategic agenda.
  • Assess the current data landscape across customers, transactions, products, and technology to identify opportunities, risks, and gaps.
  • Develop and implement a modern data strategy leveraging scalable data platforms, governance, and analytics capabilities.
  • Create a prioritized roadmap that aligns data initiatives with broader divisional transformation and business objectives.
  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure data quality, adoption, accessibility, AI enablement, and business value.
  • Build data capability across the Division by promoting data literacy, educating stakeholders, and fostering a data-driven culture.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Ability to develop compelling and effective strategic plans
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior executive teams
  • Enterprise Architecture experience and mindset
  • High familiarity with data analysis, data science and engineering techniques
  • Understanding of data value chain and what data capabilities support effective data management practices
