About the Role
As an Associate in our Technology, Data, Information Security Risk CoE, you will lead the elicitation, documentation and management of business and data requirements to support ANZ’s NFR Risk – Records Remediation program of work. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to define clear, traceable requirements and support the delivery of data-driven solutions.

What will your day look like?
As an Associate NFR Records, you will be responsible for:
- Leading structured requirements elicitation across business and data domains, including workshops, interviews and document analysis
- Documenting and managing high-quality business and data requirements (e.g. BRDs, user stories, data definitions), ensuring clarity, traceability and alignment to business outcomes
- Translating business needs into data requirements, including sourcing, transformation logic, data attributes and reporting outputs
- Partnering with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology and business divisions to validate requirements and agree scope
- Supporting solution design by ensuring requirements are complete, prioritised and understood by delivery teams
- Performing data analysis to support requirements definition, including assessment of source systems, data quality and gaps
- Working with technology teams to ensure requirements are translated effectively into system and data solutions
- Supporting testing activities, including defining test scenarios, validating outputs and ensuring requirements are met
- Identifying process impacts and supporting the definition of future-state processes aligned to data and reporting requirements
- Maintaining requirements traceability across delivery phases, from initial capture through to implementation and change Supporting governance, reporting and stakeholder updates, ensuring clear visibility of requirements status and key decisions
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Years of experience in requirements elicitation, documentation and management across complex projects
- Exposure to data platforms, reporting tools, or analytics environments
- Experience working in large-scale transformation or program environments
- Experience using BA artefacts and tools (e.g. user stories, process maps, data dictionaries, traceability matrices)
- Familiarity with records management governance, controls and records management frameworks
- Proven ability to translate business needs into structured business and data requirements
- Strong data analysis capability, including understanding data models, lineage, and data quality considerations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical audiences
- Ability to engage stakeholders and facilitate workshops to drive clarity and alignment
- Experience working across delivery lifecycles (requirements through to testing and implementation)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
