About the Role

As an Associate in our Technology, Data, Information Security Risk CoE, you will lead the elicitation, documentation and management of business and data requirements to support ANZ’s NFR Risk – Records Remediation program of work. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to define clear, traceable requirements and support the delivery of data-driven solutions.

What will your day look like?

As an Associate NFR Records, you will be responsible for:

NFR and Risk Management support:
- Partnering with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology and Business divisions to validate requirements and agree scope
- Documenting and managing high-quality business, risk, records management and data requirements ensuring clarity, traceability and alignment to business controls, outcomes and obligations.
- Performing data analysis to support risk and records requirements definition, including assessment of source systems, data quality and risk control gaps.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

- Leading workshops, interviews and document analysis, eliciting structured requirements across business and data domains
- Identifying process impacts and supporting the definition of future-state processes aligned to data and reporting requirements

Records Management - lifecycle activities including:

- Governance and Reporting 
- Digital & Physical Data Disposal
- Customer Offboarding (KYC) process definition
- Alignment with CPS 234/CPS 230/CPS220 outcomes

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Translating business needs into data requirements, including sourcing, transformation logic, data attributes and reporting outputs
- Working with technology teams to ensure requirements are translated effectively into system and data solutions
- Supporting solution design by ensuring requirements are complete, prioritised and understood by delivery teams

Applied Business Analysis and general Project Management knowledge:
- Maintaining requirements traceability across delivery phases, from initial capture through to implementation and change
- Supporting governance, reporting and stakeholder updates, including PPM management tool
- Ensuring clear visibility of requirements status and key decisions

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Working knowledge and experience in Non-Financial Risk management (1 or 2 LOD), or similar Risk experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical audiences
Ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops and coach business teams to drive clarity and alignment
Experience in, or ability to adopt Records Management governance, controls and records management frameworks
Exposure to data platforms, reporting tools, or analytics environments
Data analysis capability, including understanding data models, lineage, and data quality considerations
Experience working in large-scale transformation or program environments
Demonstrated Business analysis or project management experience in requirements elicitation, documentation and management across complex projects
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
