About the Role
Senior Analyst will be working with FC Intelligence platform squad (i2 Link Analysis, Sintelix, Global Name Management, Identity Insight, Transaction Tracing Tools, Dynamic Algorithms and Financial Crime Data Hub) to support Financial Crime Investigators and facilitating any changes needed to maintain or enhance link analysis capability. This role is critical to our business as:
- The role manages stakeholder engagement on i2 Link Analysis requirements and ensures delivery of optimised designed solutions within reasonable timeframes.
- The role is key in the end-to-end feature delivery of the i2 Link Analysis tool visually presenting data to FCTM and FCI investigators.
- This role expects to provide business and change support for future Link Analysis features going forward.
- The role is to provide coverage and aid triage and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Strong understanding of the business priorities and processes to resolve business problems.
As a member of the Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM) Team, you should be forward thinking, work collaboratively and inspire others to ensure a strong and mature compliance culture.

What will your day look like?
your role will be responsible for:
- Managing the provision of secure, compliant, efficient, cost-effective and value-adding compliance and Financial Crime Threat Management services
- Identifying opportunities and contributes to enhancing the customer experience
- Understanding of current and prospective customer needs and expectations.
- Assist in making compliance and risk data available and consumable across the organisation while also building and sustaining strong capability in the effective analysis and use of data to improve risk decisions and outcomes.
- Use Business Analysis skills to influence efficiency gains while also ensuring business awareness of resulting in delivering i2 Link Analysis Entities and Links to enable business solution for FCTM investigators
- Support the development of tools to enable the provision of actionable qualitative and quantitative insights on the end-to-end compliance and operational risk management framework.
- Drive improvements to operational risk and compliance data quality across ANZ.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to ANZ policies, processes and regulatory and legislative requirements.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience with IBM Enterprise Insight Analysis (EIA), SQL Server / SSIS , DB2,Python, JAVA, SQLServer, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform and SQL
- Able to deliver consistent and accurate analysis, presenting current trends and emerging issues to key stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of data preparation and manipulation
- Good understanding of the business priorities and processes to resolve business problems
- Demonstrated effective deployment of models within a commercial environment with examples of improved performance, productivity, decision making and/or automation
- Sound appreciation of all aspects of compliance and operational risk
