About the Role

As an Advisor - Data in our Organisation Design & Implementation Process & Optimisation team, you’ll play a key role in supporting reliable, consistent and practical data management across OD&I. You’ll help bring OD&I’s data management strategy to life by supporting data governance, data quality, optimisation and automation initiatives that improve how we deliver workforce transformation outcomes.

You’ll work closely with the Lead – Data Management, OD&I Process Engineer, service owners and delivery practitioners to embed consistent data practices, maintain operational tools and artefacts, support testing and rollout of improvements, and build team capability through practical guidance, training and user resources.

What will your day look like?

As an Advisor - Data Management, you will be:

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of OD&I data governance standards, controls and ways of working.
  • Monitoring data quality, identifying issues or anomalies, and coordinating remediation actions to improve accuracy, completeness and integrity.
  • Maintaining and improving OD&I data templates, trackers, reporting tools and operational artefacts.
  • Partnering with the Lead – Data Management, OD&I Process Engineer, service owners and practitioners to embed data management improvements into day-to-day delivery.
  • Supporting the delivery of data optimisation and automation initiatives, including documenting requirements, coordinating testing, validating outcomes and helping embed new solutions.
  • Developing process documentation, training materials and user resources to support adoption of data management practices, tools and process improvements.
  • Supporting rollout activities for new data practices and automation tools, including training, walkthroughs and practical guidance for users.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of OD&I frameworks, tools, methodologies, templates and ways of working

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience working with data management, reporting, administration or data quality activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy, completeness and integrity.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other data management tools to analyse, maintain and report on data.
  • Ability to identify data issues, investigate root causes and support practical remediation activities.
  • Experience developing and maintaining process documentation, training materials and operational resources.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to support and guide users through new processes and ways of working.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, standardisation or automation initiatives.
  • Experience working with workforce, HR or organisation design data would be well regarded.
  • Experience with Excel VBA, Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate or similar reporting, automation and workflow tools would be advantageous.
  • Relevant university qualifications will be well regarded but are not a barrier to entry.
