About the Role
As an Advisor, Credit Strategy Oversight in Group Risk – Business & Private Bank, you’ll play a key role in helping to:
- Support the Strategy Oversight team by contributing to governance and risk reporting activities to strengthen credit quality and decision making
- Contribute to maintaining effective oversight and compliance with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

What could your day look like?
- Supporting execution of credit governance processes including monitoring, reporting, and control activities
- Assisting in governance, audit, and compliance activities including issue tracking and escalation support
- Preparing analysis and reporting to support risk oversight and decision making
- Ensuring adherence to policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What will you bring?

- Sound stakeholder communication and ability to support risk discussions derived from data analysis and creation of clear insights
- Experience in risk management or governance environments
- Strong analytical and reporting capability and strong understanding of Policy
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes
- Is an advocate of change and leads with clarity and conviction, all the while fostering a positive, open mindset and helping their team adapt confidently to evolving business and risk environments.
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- Basic understanding of group credit principles and governance frameworks.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Banking, Finance, Accounting or Economics (desirable)
