About the Role

The AML Learning Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of employees within FCTM AML Operations. They will be responsible for preparing, designing, and facilitating role-based learning which aligns within the AML Accreditation Framework. The AML Learning Specialist will also be required to implement, update and maintain learning resources and materials to ensure they are consistent with emerging financial crime typologies and trends.

Reporting to the FCTM Talent Manager, the AML Learning Specialist will work closely within the team delivering operational learning that fosters employee competence, confidence, and compliance within FCTM.

Schedule: Permanent, Full Time

What will your day look like?

As part of the FCTM Operational Excellence team, the AML Learning Specialist will:

  • Ensure the AML Operations workforce is supported through the facilitation of role-specific training that caters to diverse learning styles and needs through skills-based learning techniques.
  • Ensure that key findings and insights from business functions such as Quality Control and Quality Assurance are disseminated and applied through learning to close the feedback loop.
  • Support the FCTM Talent Manager design and develop blended learning programs including eLearning modules, learning capability assessments and evaluation tools.
  • Key member assisting in the planning and management of various learning and development events that support ongoing employee learning.

 

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience in AML/CTF legislation, financial crime typologies, red flags and case management practices.
  • Experience in facilitation, designing and developing blended learning solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex AML concepts clearly and tailor content to diverse learning styles.
  • Experience in applying adult learning principles and techniques to learning solutions to deliver engaging and accessible learning outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
