About the Role

 

The purpose of the Senior Private Wealth Adviser role is to drive the efficient and effective delivery of complex advice solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) customers by extracting deep knowledge of their needs and then providing market leading strategic advice across wealth strategy and investment solutions. The role will provide direction and guidance to customers while confidently being able to articulate and demonstrate the value of advice and deliver outcomes to improve their financial position.

 

As a Senior Private Wealth Adviser, you will identify and understand our high-net-worth customer needs and leverage expertise to improve and protect their financial position, while proactively managing internal and external relationships in the pursuit of actively growing the Private Banking & Advice (PB&A) business. 

You will work in a collaborative and social team environment ensuring excellent client outcomes through delivery of both strategic and investment advice. You will also be supported by a qualified team across capability, quality, administration and paraplanning.

What will your day look like?

 

As a Senior Private Wealth Adviser, you will:

  • Proactively build and grow our business through portfolio management, successful relationships, technology and use of data
  • Ongoing conversations with high-net-worth customers to understand their needs and requirements to be able to provide tailored advice solutions
  • Deliver strategic financial advice and build relationships with clients whilst managing referrals effectively
  • Continuously coach and advise HNW customers to meet and exceed their financial goals
  • Actively coach and collaborate with internal referral partners and the wider Private Banking & Advice (PB&A) business
  • Act in line with our purpose and strategy to re-engage the community, be worthy of their trust and ensure our products and services are provided honestly, fairly and are free of any conflicts of interest
  • Actively contribute to the overall well managed PB&A business from a risk and process perspective

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

  • Extensive experience in Advice (including high-net-worth individual/entities), and a comprehensive understanding of markets, investments and strategic solutions to meet the customer’s needs
  • Have met all FASEA Education Standards
  • Excellent advice audit results
  • High ethical standards reflected in a history of providing advice across a broad range of strategies to high net wealth clients
  • Resilient, fast paced with a strong growth mindset
  • Ability to build productive relationships with team members, referral partners and customers
  • Strong, effective communication skills and influencing capability
  • Ability to network, use initiative and work independently
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
