About the Role
As a key member of our Organisation Design & Strategy (OD&S) Leadership Team, you’ll play a critical role in our Workforce Strategy & Transformation (WS&T) Group. WS&T are trusted advisors and delivery partners to T&C and the business, through a strategy led, data informed, and people enabled approach to workforce strategy and transformation.
As a Senior Project Lead, you can be expected to lead large transformation projects and programs in the disciplines of Organisation Design, Operating Model, Business Architecture or People Streams of M&As (either pre-post-deal).

What will your day look like?
Senior Project Lead - Target Operating Model/Organisation Design
• What your mission includes: Leading a team to design and deliver diverse large scale operating model and org design programs
• What your day will involve:
- Collaborating with your team and across the bank to design and execute people solutions (e.g. execution and delivery of integration or separation activities)
- Bringing your strong technical design and strategy experience to your project work to support ANZ’s transformation efforts.
- Guiding project team members and manage key people risks in collaboration with the integration/separation office and key business stakeholders
- Engaging and closely partnering with business leaders, T&C BPs, T&C, cross-functional leads and other key stakeholders to deliver the initiative
Senior Project Lead – Mergers and Acquisitions
• What your mission includes Leading the people stream of multiple due diligence initiatives, working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated diligence support to ANZ’s central M&A team and key business stakeholders
• What your day will involve:
- Working closely with the M&A team, key business leaders and other parts of Talent & Culture (HR) to identify and quantify key people risks and issues to inform bid price and formal recommendations to the Board
- Leading the people stream from due diligence, deal negotiations, sales and purchase agreements, integration / separation strategy, planning and delivery to completion
- Guiding project team members and manage key people risks in collaboration with the integration/separation office and key business stakeholders
- Providing technical guidance on employment related risks, issues and associated costs
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

Depth of experience in one or more of the OD&S core capabilities Organisation Design, Operating Model, Business Architecture or People Streams of M&As (both pre-post-deal)

Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and the confidence to challenge them when they need it

Experience in project and program management, including governance, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, supporting budget, resource and scope management

Demonstrated strong consulting, problem-solving skills, being able to diagnose root cause problems and determine solutions.

Ability to upskill and invest in team members’ development and growth through a combination of formal and structured experiential learning opportunities

Technology savvy and data literate
