About the Role


To provide legal support as part of the ANZ Corporate Banking & Institutional Legal Group Services (ilgS) team. The Corporate Banking & ILGS team is part of the Institutional Legal Group and provides support to the Corporate Banking business and the Institutional business globally on higher volume lower risk matters.

What will your day look like?


•    Provide legal support on various work types, including:
•    Reviewing provisions in standard loan documentation and credit support documents;
•    Preparing and/or reviewing documents to facilitate the provision of banking and financial services, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, authority documents and support letters; and 
•    Preparing and/or reviewing documents which are relevant to customer accounts, including consent letters and other notices. 
•    In addition, the responsibilities will include building and maintaining excellent relationships across the legal team, the business and other stakeholders and contributing positively to the timely and efficient delivery of products and services to customers and helping to achieve business and customer objectives.

What will you bring?


•    Legal qualified with a minimum 2 year PQE. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise and collaborate effectively with business and other stakeholders.
•    An ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment regarding risks and mitigants associated with the various work types.
•    Team-focused and customer-focused with a willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
•    Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure in an accurate, calm and timely manner with the ability to reprioritise work to meet changing demands.
•    Common sense and a positive attitude.
