About the Role
Join Group Risk’s PACT Program – a set of initiatives that turn complicated, company-wide promises into clear, testable requirements and well-managed delivery results.
You’ll be working with the NFR Framework team to help shape and implement the enterprise-wide framework, enhancing processes that transform end-to-end Non-Financial Risk management.
You’ll translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, practical solutions that simplify how our people work and enable them to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers
This role operates within the Enterprise NFR uplift program, and you will be required to work to program governance, reporting and closure standards, ensuring highquality evidence, timely risk escalation and controlled delivery across Group Risk and partner divisions.

What will your day look like?
We are a dynamic fast paced delivery environment and the focus areas for these roles will develop and evolve as program delivery progresses. Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future design of ANZ’s Non-Financial Risk (NFR) environment and ensure alignment across programs.
- Adapt your approach to meet diverse stakeholder needs and changing situations effectively.
- Research and analyse data, industry insights, and feedback to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply your NFR expertise to review the end-to-end risk lifecycle, driving standardization and embedding of the NFR Framework and operating model.
- Drive governance and reporting across the Enterprise NFR uplift program and broader bank standards by ensuring compliance with frameworks, delivering accurate and timely program reports, maintaining high-quality evidence, and supporting risk escalation to enable transparency and controlled delivery
- Design and communicate solutions by translating business requirements into system functionality, creating prototypes, and presenting outcomes in an engaging, easy-to-understand way.
- Partner on change initiatives to develop compelling communications and learning resources that simplify complex concepts and support framework adoption.
- Facilitate alignment and support implementation of new NFR taxonomy, framework procedures, and tools, while addressing queries and fostering collaboration.
- Drive governance and reporting across the Enterprise NFR uplift program and broader bank standards by ensuring compliance with frameworks, delivering accurate and timely program reports, maintaining high-quality evidence, and supporting risk escalation to enable transparency and controlled delivery
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in Non-Financial Risk management, compliance, or related risk disciplines within financial services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and senior levels.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to detail and a focus on practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights and reporting.
- Ability to work autonomously on complex tasks, appreciating challenging problems and presenting findings clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in framework implementation, process improvement, or business analysis within risk environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in Risk Management, Compliance, or Business Analysis.
