About the Role

As a Project Manager in Group Risk, you will manage the delivery of Non-Financial Risk activities responding to the Enforceable undertaking. This role plays an integral part in ensuring delivery activities are delivered on time, with the required quality and outcomes achieved.

 

We have multiple opportunities available for this role offered as either permanent or fixed-term contracts.

Role Type: Multiple opportunities - permanent or 12 months fixed term 
Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane 
Work Hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week

 

What will your day look like?

We are a dynamic fast paced delivery environment and the focus areas for these roles will develop and evolve as program delivery progresses. 

 

As a Project Manager, you are accountable for:


•    Managing the end-to-end delivery of projects under the APRA EU program, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk initiatives
•    Translating regulatory requirements into executable workstreams that drive sustainable uplift in risk capability
•    Ensuring project alignment with the bank’s Risk Management Framework and regulatory expectations
•    Establishing and maintain effective project governance, including detailed reporting, risk tracking and stakeholder engagement
•    Partnering with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and the business to ensure alignment and delivery of key milestones
•    Preparing high-quality reports and updates for Group executives, internal governance forums and APRA.

 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:


•    Strong knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and Risk Management Frameworks.
•    Expertise in business analysis tools and documentation standards 
•    Expertise in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, navigating ambiguity and driving clarity, to meet tight deadlines 
•    Expertise in applying enterprise delivery standards and producing high-quality artefacts across project lifecycles.
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement, including Senior Executive levels, with clear communication across business and technology areas
•    Strong communicator with experience drafting executive reports and regulatory submissions
