What will your day look like?

In our dynamic and fast-paced delivery environment, the focus areas for these roles will continue to develop and evolve as program delivery progresses.

As a Project Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of projects within the APRA Enforceable Undertaking program, with a strong focus on NonFinancial Risk uplift.
  • urning regulatory requirements into real outcomes, shaping workstreams that strengthen the bank’s risk capabilities.
  • Ensuring alignment to ANZ’s Risk Management Framework, so every deliverable meets internal and regulatory expectations
  • Partnering with senior leaders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and the broader business to keep delivery on track and connected.
  • Crafting high‑quality updates for Group Executives, governance forums, and APRA — ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impact.

What will you bring?

To succeed and grow in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • 5+ years proven experience in delivering risk and regulatory initiatives within financial services
  • Working knowledge of Non‑Financial Risk, Risk Management Frameworks, and the Three Lines of Defence.
  • Analytical and delivery discipline, including business analysis skills, documentation standards, and enterprise delivery practices.
  • Confident stakeholder operator, able to navigate complexity and engage effectively with senior executives across business and technology.
  • Exceptional communicator, skilled in producing high‑quality executive reports and regulatory submissions, with a collaborative mindset and drive for meaningful change.

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
