About the Role

The QC Officer is critical to making this happen and will

  •  

    Quality check the customer documentation outputs of Relationship Managers and Assistant Managers for adherence to contractual obligations, agreed processes & procedures and to ANZ policies

  • Contribute to maximising business revenue by mitigating operational risk, credit risk, legal risk and collateral losses, providing feedback to Relationship Managers and Assistant Managers to support the development of their accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service support is provided thus contribute to the business's profitability by ensuring quality output

  • Monitor the quality of the completed customer documents received for Quality Review

  • Identify training opportunities from quality assurance reviews and effectively communicate these (vertical and horizontal)

  • Proactively identify weaknesses and deficiencies in processes and procedures relating to quality, risk and compliance and recommend solutions

What will your day look like?


As a LoO QC Officer, you will:

  • Monitor the quality of the completed customer documents received for Quality Review.

  • Highlight data quality areas of concern, system fails, issues and risks identified to Team  Manager, Relationship Manager and Assistant manager as apropriate. 

  • Assist Manager in identifying and developing process & team improvements and rollout of new ideas.

  • Ensure adherence to process and standards.

  • Be responsible for the accuracy of all transactions independently verified/checked

  • Play a key role in implementing a best practice Quality Assurance Program across business.  

  • Proactively identify weaknesses and deficiencies in processes and procedures relating to quality, risk and compliance and recommend solutions

  • Deliver on service benchmarks and customer expectations

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service support is provided thus contribute to the business's profitability by ensuring quality output.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Attention to detail, knowledge and unserstanding of risk management principles

  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills

  • Strong internal and external customer focus and the ability to provide quality customer service

  • Knowledge and understanding of Corporate & Commercial Banking

  • Knowledge of Windows and ANZ systems such as ACM, CAP & CCMS

  • Previous banking exposure in a similar environment
