About the Role
As a Credit Analyst in our Commercial Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting frontline and onshore credit in managing counterparty credit risk by using appropriate judgement and commercial credit experience to assess the credit risks associated with annual reviews under SFCR A & B submitted for approval of the CAD Holder. You will be responsible for the overall credit quality of accounts under review remains within JCR to ensure consistent levels for loss and write offs. You will ensure that the team’s daily statistics are recorded in a timely and accurate manner

What will your day look like?
As a Credit Analyst, you will:

Complete and exercise Credit approval decisions for Annual Reviews under Behavioral Review Checklist and SFCR A & B with complexities and associated processes for Commercial Banking customers

Make sound recommendations and logical assessment, demonstrating a clear understanding of the customer and appropriate risks evident

Understand the needs of the Relationship Sets and customers to ensure service delivery to meet/exceed their and QA/ regulatory requirements.

Proactively reviews and implements improvements in practices and procedures to allow Relationship Delivery Team exceed SLA targets.

Conduct review/checking for Annual Reviews under Behavioral Review Checklist and SFCR A & B with complexities completed by Commercial Centre of Excellence.

Ability to handle for Annual Reviews under Behavioral Review Checklist and SFCR A & B escalations and approvals from Junior Credit Analysts.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Demonstrated experience in the Banking industry, most of which in Credit (preferably Commercial). Or has passed the cross skilling program of the Annual Review Team.

Knowledge in global, regional and country-specific economic events and integrate these with the credit risk issues.

Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify risks and impacts and recommend actions to enable resolution of business challenges.

Keen ability to understand significant credit issues

High level of integrity and sense of accountability
