About the Role
As Training Manager in our Learning Delivery Services, you’ll play a key role in leading the LEAD@ANZ Event Management team. You will focus on guiding, monitoring, and upskilling your team of event coordinators; responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of instructor-led and virtual instructor-led learning programs for LEAD@ANZ. You will also strive to ensure the quality delivery of the LEAD@ANZ program, with an eye on the continuous improvement of day-to-day operations.

What will your day look like?
You will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Team Management
- Manage a team of event coordinators, including upskilling team members; setting goals, targets and objectives; managing work queues; monitoring quality outputs via Quality Assurance framework; guiding and coaching for high-performance
- Monitor adherence to agreed SLA’s for event management services and taking corrective action where these are not met
- Ensure event logistics are delivered within budget, with a continuing focus on reducing costs
- Identify opportunities to standardise, streamline, improve and automate event management processes
- Effectively identify and manage risks related to LEAD@ANZ
Event Coordination
- Pro-actively engage and consult with LEAD@ANZ business stakeholders to determine learning needs, conceptualize and communicate solutions, prioritize and plan the work; and co-ordinate resources
- Forecast demand through timely consultation with key stakeholders
- Set up, administration and maintenance of events utilizing enterprise learning technologies
- Arrange event logistics including venue, equipment, catering, facilitators, materials, guest speakers, etc
- Communicate with learners, line managers, other stakeholders (eg. invitations, confirmations, notifications, pre/post work etc.)
- Maintain accurate learning records (e.g. bulk registrations, waitlist management, completions, withdrawals, cancellations);
- Moderate the classes making use of MS Teams – link creation, use of breakout rooms, use of whiteboard, recording, generating attendance reports, etc.
- Effectively respond to escalations, incidents, customer complaints and feedback

- Strong leadership experience with an ability to motivate and inspire high performance thru culture, leadership, and performance enablement
- Experience in coaching and leadership with ability to transfer knowledge, through human centred principles.
- Excellence in Event Management delivery, with a keen eye for detail, and ability to review processes and implement changes
- Superior consultation, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Strong prioritisation, problem-solving, and decision making skills
- Expertise in the use of MS Teams for a seamless delivery of classes
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
