Senior Lead, Control Testing
Senior Lead, Control Testing
About Us
At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Lead, Control Testing, you will contribute in strengthening first‑line control testing and QA capability, maturity, and consistency across the Corporate Enablement functions. You will provide delivery leadership at scale, ensuring testing is risk‑based, methodologically sound, well‑governed, and delivers meaningful insight into control effectiveness and non‑compliance. You will support the uplift and continuous improvement of control testing practices, translating enterprise risk standards into practical testing approaches, quality benchmarks, and reporting expectations. You also ensure that testing activity delivers clear, prioritised insights that enable effective escalation, informed decision‑making, and business‑owned remediation. Lastly, you will partner closely with peers, stakeholders and risk specialists to influence how risks and controls are understood and managed.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
