The Change Management Initiatives Manager directly supports the Senior Manager for Credit Process & Frameworks in developing, reviewing and managing the simplification and transformation of credit process initiatives across the Wholesale Division. This includes engaging with key stakeholders across Wholesale, to ensure that changes to credit-related processes, particularly where it relates to credit process transformation and policy simplification, are well understood and aligned to Judgemental Credit Requirements (JCR).
The role will also support credit process transformation working groups, digitising the credit process and seeking to drive standardisation of data points across the Wholesale Credit Framework, by minimising duplication and ensuring that GWC tools and frameworks are consistently applied.
This post works closely with Wholesale Credit and Risk Leadership Teams to enable Group Wholesale Credit Operations & Enablement (GWCO&E) to proactively deliver change, supporting change management communication plans and stakeholder engagement to execute on implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transformation & Simplification Initiatives
- Design and delivery of credit process transformation & simplification initiatives, supporting both risk and strategic business priorities.
- Driving continuous focus on credit process simplification, data capture consistency and automation to support data quality & insights either directly via GWC/Risk initiatives or indirectly supporting divisional/enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Support the broader GWCO&E team with the delivery and implementation of initiatives ensuring consistency and alignment with other credit related processes.
- GWC Processes & Frameworks
- Responsible for day-to-day management and review of policy frameworks (based on annual review cycle or initiative led), supporting governance processes and integration of the frameworks and digitisation of End-Use-Computer-Tools (EUCTs) within credit platforms.
- Manage day to day CAD framework and governance activities embedded in the CAD Delegation Tool, supporting the CAD Annual Review process for Wholesale Divisions and escalation queries from CAD Ops (Manila Hub) and Nova support teams.
- Providing subject matter expertise into new or enhanced Risk Grade Rating model builds including metric methodology and supporting risk grade practices by the Business and Credit.
- Responsible for supporting Credit Capability Forum, which includes oversight and review of credit-related content for mandatory learning and accredited training to ensure content remains aligned with Judgemental Credit Policy.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Working knowledge of Judgemental Credit Requirements (ie. Credit policy), processes and supporting infrastructure. This includes a strong knowledge of end-to-end credit process and procedure, the application of policy frameworks, as well as risk grading processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal – ability to translate complex technical material into simple layman’s language, concisely.
- Strong organisational skills and high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality is essential.
- Able to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, being proactive by taking action and being persistent in addressing issues.
- Strong delivery focus and able to coordinate many moving parts to deliver an outcome.
- Understanding of quantitative techniques for modelling and analytics.
- Broad knowledge of banking and financial services products and procedures with an understanding of risk management
